Edithouse co-producing “The fox”
Principal photography just wrapped on Emanuel Claesson’s short film The Fox. As co-producer Edithouse provided equipment, technical advise and post.
Emanuel decided at an early stage of the production that he wanted to shoot on RED, says Tobias Garsell at Edithouse, and came to us to make it become reality. He had a fun story tell, so naturally we wanted be part of the project. The new digital film formats are changing the way film creators can access the medium dramatically. This kind of production just wouldn’t have been possible a few years ago.
Emanuel Claesson: When the idea for The fox took shape it was just as much about visual expression as of the story. Visual language, set design and costume is central in making the film, but we needed a camera that could take it to the next level. I had my eyes on the RED camera right from the start. The images that came out of the shoot feels like a sharper, refined version of what I had in mind.
The fox will be released later this spring.
